Getting there

  • Arriving at Sunday (City parade / Boat parade):
    Please try to arrive between 8.00 and 9.00 am in Ausseerland-Salzkammergut – you will be directed to a free parking space.
  • Shuttlebus:
    Use the free shuttle buses from your parking spot to the venues.
  • Festival ticket:
    The festival ticket can only be bought directly in Bad Aussee on Sunday, costs €15.00 – children up to 15 years old are free.
  • City parade:
    Visitors have the opportunity to view the narcissus figures from 08.00 am in Bad Aussee, accompanied by traditional music, and displays of local handicrafts and customs. Between 11.00 am and 11.30 am, the procession will start on its way to the boat parade, accompanied by the Musikkapellen and traditionally dressed groups made up of all ages, displaying the historical costumes of the region.
  • Food and Drink:
    There are different “Standln” (stalls) with regional delicacies around the festival area. Of course, the Ausseer shops and restaurants have opened.

  • Boat parade:
    You can use a shuttle bus to get to the boat parade or you can walk (takes approximately 1 hour). The boat parade starts at 2.30 pm and ends at 4.00 pm
